Frequently asked questions
What is the largest part you can machine?
Our UNION CNC boring mill handles parts up to 3,000 × 2,000 × 1,500 × 900 mm and our LAGUN CNC milling machine up to 3,000 × 1,200 × 1,500 mm. On the VDF lathe we machine parts of Ø 300 × 1,500 mm and short parts up to Ø 640 × 50 mm. We are also considering machining larger parts using more than one setup.
Can you make a part without a drawing?
Yes. If there is no drawing, we study the sample part and prepare the technical documentation needed to manufacture it.
Do you machine super duplex, Hastelloy and titanium?
Yes. We have machined stainless steels, SAF, super duplex, Hastelloy, titanium alloys and Stellite, as well as ceramic-coated parts. Other complex materials on request.
Do you make one-off parts and short runs?
Yes. We make one-off parts and short runs, both as single orders and as periodic repeat orders.
Do you keep drawings confidential?
Yes. The drawings and parts you entrust to us are handled confidentially, and we do not publish photos of customers’ parts without their consent. If you need it, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before receiving the documents.
Do you make spare parts and repair machinery?
Yes. We reproduce or machine components for the maintenance and recovery of industrial machinery, including parts that need Stellite hardfacing or ceramic coating, coordinating with the relevant specialists when required.
